My name is Shannon Stilwell and I am the mommy behind Potamus Prefers. I began blogging in the summer of 2008 as a way to share photos of and updates on my two young sons. As I became more familiar with blogging, I found a whole world of blogging I didn't realize existed. I was approached by a few companies to do reviews and fell in love with writing again. Blogging is an outlet for my love of writing and I also enjoy getting to know other moms and finding products that both my family and my readers can benefit from.
My blog is where I share stories and photos of my husband, our son, and our twin son and daughter. I like to promote and support other mom & dad bloggers and their small businesses. In addition, I host a weekly meme on Tuesdays called "Silly Monkey Stories." I also love to share my experiences with my readers with various products & services. I try to offer giveaways so that my readers can have a little fun and have the opportunity to experience some of the things I review first hand.
Mom Start is all about being a mom of two children a little over a year apart. I share struggles and triumphs with savings, raising my kids and procuring donations. In between all that I write product reviews and host giveaways while participating in the occasional meme.
